4 Reasons to Check Out the Husqvarna 701 Enduro

If you’re in the market for an enduro motorcycle that you can also take on the road with you, the Husqvarna 701 Enduro is worth having a look at.

What caught my eye about the 701 Enduro is the amount of new technology that has gone into it. Here are a few examples, which make the 701 worth checking out:

  1. Ride-by-wire: The Husqvarna 701 Enduro now has ride-by-wire throttle, sometimes called Ride Modes. This let’s the rider change the power characterists of the bike with the click of a button to suit the environment. Ride-by-wire isn’t something that you need, but once you have it, it really opens your eyes to the full capabilities and the range of what your motorcycle is capable of, while still allowing you to tone the bike down when conditions call for a less aggressive approach.
  2. Two-channel Bosch 9.1 MP ABS: The 701 includes a new Bosch cornering ABS technology. The motorcycle’s ABS system now takes into account the lean angle to apply ABS better, allowing better rider control and safety. ABS and Supermoto mode can also be disengaged.
  3. Easy Shift: The new Easy Shift function found on the Husqvarna 701 creates shorter shift times & improves rear wheel traction and feel for the rider.
  4. Motorcycle-Specific Traction Control: Much like the ABS system, the 701’s new motorcycle traction control system also takes into account lean angle, giving you perfect rear wheel action.

Motorcycle technology has come a long way. Bikes today are easier, more manageable, and more intelligent than ever.  Husqvarna has always been a premium brand that uses high quality components that bring a high-end feel and difference to the motorcycle, but the evolution of technology found in the 701 highlights that Husqvarna won’t rest on laurels and is committed to helping riders pushing the limits.

The last reason you might want to consider checking out the big single Swedish girl, is a 1.99% financing rate for those who are in Canada. You can check out Studio Cycle in Toronto for more info on that.
