MISSRIDER on Jimmy Fallon – Kinda

Madeleine “MISSRIDER” Velazquez has been featured on YouMotorcycle not once, not twice, but thrice, and she finally made it to Hollywood – kinda.

MISSRIDER is a public school teacher in Worcester, Massachusetts. We first got in touch with her after her ride across the United States on her Triumph Bonneville and featured her on the site, twice.

In 2012 MISSRIDER was traveling across America again, this time from North to South. She rode up to Toronto, Canada, and we we had dinner together on my birthday along with Cecilia from I-Want-To-Ride and “G”.

Fast-forward to Summer 2014. We heard from MISSRIDER that she had just helped Ewan McGregor stranded on the side of the road. As if she wasn’t already an international hero, MISSRIDER even made the news in Scotland.

It looks like Long Way Round and Long Way Down star Obi Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) hasn’t forgotten about MISSRIDER’s kindness, mentioning her on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Take a look:

Oh, and it turns out her daughter’s pretty cool too. Here’s an interview we did with her talking all about her mom, MISSRIDER.

UPDATE: There’s a new Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman series where the duo will be riding electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycles across Central and South America.

About Adrian

Adrian is the YouMotorcycle Editor. He never planned on becoming a blogger, but liked the idea of sharing his passion and encouraging others to get out and ride. He believes that anyone thinking about buying a motorcycle should hurry up and buy one, and that everyone who already owns a motorcycles should ride more. He likes V-Twins, scooters, and breaking social norms. He occasionally wears a suit and high-top sneakers when he rides to work. Sometimes he takes out his tools and everything goes from bad to worse. Sometimes everything just falls into his lap. Whatever the case he stays grateful and always tries to learn. If you feel motorcycling is a lifestyle, follow him via social media.
