There’s A Guy Making Motorcycle Videos

Long story short: I used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make a 22 second song, or jingle, for the YouMotorcycle YouTube channel.

Long story long:

I started writing a dumb song about a guy making motorcycle videos, as a bit of a joke for some fun to pass the time. I think it was set to the rhythm of a tune by The Beach Boys.

A few days later I learned about a website that allowed you to use AI to create music. All you had to do was prompt the AI with some details like what genre of music you wanted, what the mood of the song should be, and what your lyrics were. If you didn’t have lyrics it would even make some up for you.

Luckily, I already had my old Beach Boys inspired jingle written down. So I entered my prompts in AI, including my lyrics and asking it for a 1960s rock and roll vibe. I let the AI know which of the words to really emphasize by adding lots of capital letters and exclamation marks, and, well, I really liked what came out!

I liked the song so much I decided to make a short and silly video out of it. Something I could use as the new channel trailer for the YouMotorcycle channel on YouTube. The current channel trailer video was several years old and no longer really reflected what the channel was about.

Here’s the original channel trailer in comparison:

I think the original channel trailer was more upbeat and informative, but the new channel trailer is more fun.

What do you think? Please leave me a comment and let me know your preference!
